Endodontics

Endodontic supplies covering the whole of root canal treatment, from access and canal negotiation through cleaning and shaping to obturation and coronal seal. Success in endodontics depends less on any single instrument than on the sequence being complete and consistent, so the range is stocked to cover every stage rather than a selection of highlights.

Access and negotiation. Hand files in stainless steel for scouting and glide path creation, rotary NiTi files for shaping, and barbed broaches for removing pulp tissue. Working length is confirmed electronically rather than estimated, which is why an apex locator belongs in the same tray.

Irrigation and disinfection. Chelating solutions for smear layer removal, disinfecting rinses and side-vented needle tips that deliver irrigant without driving it past the apex. Activation, whether sonic or ultrasonic, is what moves irrigant into the lateral anatomy a file never touches.

Obturation. Gutta percha points in standardized and taper-matched sizes, absorbent paper points for drying, and sealers in bioceramic, resin and zinc oxide-eugenol chemistries. A dry canal is what lets the sealer wet the dentin wall properly.

Between and after visits. Calcium hydroxide and other intracanal medicaments, temporary filling materials for the interim seal, and core build-up materials for restoring the tooth before crown preparation.

Storage and reprocessing. Autoclavable file organizers and endo boxes that keep instruments in size order and go through the cycle intact.
