Irrigation

Supplies for root canal irrigation and suction, including EDTA solution, endodontic aspirator needles and sonic activator tips. Irrigation does most of the cleaning in endodontics, reaching areas that files cannot touch.

Side vented needles deliver irrigant without pushing it past the apex. Aspirator tips remove fluid and debris from the canal, and sonic activation drives the irrigant into lateral canals and isthmuses.

Use a generous volume of irrigant throughout shaping, and finish with EDTA to remove the smear layer before obturation.
