Hedstrom Files

Mani Hedstrom files (H-files) in stainless steel, in standard ISO sizes and lengths. Their sharp, cone-shaped flutes cut on the pull stroke, removing dentin efficiently during manual canal shaping and retreatment.

H-files are used with a push and pull motion, never rotated, since they bind easily and can break under twisting. They are also useful for removing gutta percha and broken fragments.

Clean the flutes often during use and discard any file that shows distortion.
