Stainless Steel Crowns

Preformed metal crowns, including 3M Iso-Form temporary crowns, for durable temporary coverage of posterior teeth. Used where a tooth needs full coverage that will last until a definitive restoration is made.

Metal crowns are strong, thin and easy to adapt with crimping pliers, which makes them suitable for longer temporary use than resin crowns.

Select the size by the mesiodistal width, trim and crimp the margin, and cement with a temporary or glass ionomer cement.
