Silicone Impression Materials

Silicone impression materials for crowns, bridges, implants and dentures, including addition silicone (VPS) putty, heavy, regular and light body in cartridges and kits, and bite registration silicones. Accurate, tear resistant and stable enough to pour more than once.

The putty and wash technique uses a stiff putty in the tray and a flowable light body around the preparation, capturing the margin in fine detail. Automix cartridges keep the mix consistent and free of air bubbles.

Latex gloves can inhibit the set of addition silicones, so mix with vinyl or nitrile gloves. Retract the tissue well and keep the field dry for the clearest margins.
