Castable Abutment

Castable abutments for Internal Hex implants, in burn-out plastic and CoCr base versions, for making fully custom abutments and screw retained restorations. They let the laboratory create an abutment shaped to the patient rather than adapting a stock part.

The plastic sleeve is waxed up to the desired shape, invested and cast, and it burns out without residue. Versions with a machined CoCr base keep a precise implant connection after casting, which improves fit.

Castable abutments are useful for difficult angulations, limited space and custom emergence profiles.
