Description

The Prevest Denpro Platina Hi-Gloss Composite Polishing Paste is a product for the final polishing of direct or indirect anterior and posterior resin restorative materials. It's an aluminum oxide paste that also contains potassium nitrate as a topical desensitizer to enhance patient comfort during the polishing process. It has a 4g syringe and is known for its non-splatter and non-drying formula, which is flavored with spearmint.

For usage, the paste is applied after the restoration has been shaped and contoured with finishing burs. It's used with a polishing cup attached to a dental handpiece, and the paste is worked onto the restoration surface to get a high luster finish.
