Periodontal Periosteal Molt

A periosteal elevator is a surg tool used to remove the soft tissues. The periosteum is double-sided and equipped with one pointed and narrow end that is used to start the process of lifting the mucoperiosteum and a second slightly wider and more rounded end that completes the removal of the tissue so that it is enough to expose the bone.

A periosteal has two slightly curved ends and is one of the most common devices in oral surgery. The tool is excellent for various surg procedures, especially when it comes to surg extractions. With its help, the alveolus can be cleaned after the displacement from soft tissue and mucoperiosteum.
