A universal hook is Ideal for DSI TAD Miniscrew orthodontic implant. It is designed specifically for use with TAD Miniscrews, along with orthodontic archwires, chains, and springs. It is used in cases of mesialization, distalization, space closure, and anterior retraction mechanics.
The Universal Hook provides optimal movement control by allowing multiple height options for the positioning of the coil spring. It offers 3 height points along its body. Each height point defines the exact distance from the wire and represents an increment of 4mm, 6.5mm, and 9mm. This feature enables just the right application and the most appropriate orthodontic mechanics to obtain the best outcomes for your patients.
The universal hook is made of stainless steel and can be used with coil springs with eyelets above Ø1.6mm. It can be installed on archwires up to .021"x .025", and enables perfect working conditions in all 4 quadrants.
