Specialty implant drills for advanced protocols, including countersink drills, bone profilers and trephine-based drills. Used to shape the crest, make room for the implant platform and prepare sites that standard drills cannot handle.

Countersink drills widen the top of the osteotomy in dense cortical bone, which lowers insertion torque and pressure at the crest. Bone profilers remove bone around the platform of a healed implant so an abutment can seat fully.

Use plenty of irrigation and check that the drill matches the implant system before starting.
