Métaux et Alliages

Casting alloys and solders for the dental laboratory from BEGO, Dentaurum and Mesa, including chrome-cobalt alloys for partial denture frameworks and porcelain fused to metal work, nickel-chrome alloys and solder rods. Supplied in 1kg packs for regular casting work.

Chrome-cobalt is stiff and light, which makes it the standard alloy for removable partial denture frameworks and a common choice for metal ceramic crowns. Nickel-chrome casts easily and is economical for crowns and bridges.

Match the alloy to the ceramic when it will be veneered, and use the solder recommended for that alloy. Always follow the melting and casting temperatures on the data sheet.
