Dentaurum Discovery Pearl Orthodontic Ceramic Brackets were one of the most innovative and naturally-looking aesthetic brackets on the market back in 2017 when first introduced. These translucent ceramic brackets, which look attractive out of the box, guarantee flawless aesthetics. Its shape and size nearly blend into the mouth, giving it a discrete appearance. The brackets have a patented laser-structured base with FDI notation for quick and accurate matching to the right tooth, as well as an anatomical basis for a perfect fit on the tooth. This system enables the easy assignment of brackets to each tooth and optimal alignment. The laser-structured base of Dentaurum metal brackets ensures secure bonding to the tooth throughout the treatment.

Discovery® Pearl is a monolithic all-ceramic bracket that sets a new standard for aesthetics during orthodontic treatment while delivering high-quality performance. The bracket is molded in one piece using the latest equipment for the Ceramic Injection Molding (CIM) process. It is made of highly pure aluminum oxide and perfectly adapts to the natural tooth shade, with no disruptive light reflection. With its ideal geometry and size, the bracket is almost invisible in the mouth.

The discovery® pearl bracket is based on the successful design of the discovery® bracket family. The large, rounded wing undercuts provide ample room for all types of ligatures, including multiple or elastic ligatures. The base of the brackets is optimally adapted to the tooth contour using Computer-Aided Design (CAD), which makes positioning the bracket on the tooth easier. Since all brackets within the discovery® family have a low In-Out of only 0.7 mm, they can be combined with one another without the need for compensation bends. This offers more flexibility in defining individual treatment plans.

The debonding process is also effortless, thanks to the specially developed debonding instrument that is used for discovery® pearl brackets. The bracket can be removed from the tooth easily and gently without excessive force.

In addition, these small ceramic brackets can be combined with innovative translucent pearl archwires that have glass fibre reinforcement, providing the perfect finish to the appliance while remaining almost invisible.
