The JD Guided Surgery Kit is the surgical kit made by JDentalCare® to support computer guided implant surgery. One tray covers every JDentalCare® implant line, with implant diameters from Ø2.75mm to Ø5.0mm and lengths from 6mm to 15mm, so the same kit takes you from the pilot osteotomy to implant insertion whichever JD fixture was planned.
All JD guided drills use a non cylindrical body with two lateral cuts. The cuts reduce friction inside the guide sleeve, which limits heat build up, and they let the external irrigation reach the osteotomy while the site is being prepared. Depth is controlled by the drill working against a single Ø5.01mm sleeve, so the implant is seated at the depth set in the plan.
The kit is compatible with the main guided surgery planning programs on the market. For guided pterygoid and nasal placement it can be extended with the 18, 20, 22, 24 and 26mm long drills supplied in the JD Extra Drills Kit (code JDKIT02, sold separately).
Features:
- One kit for all JDentalCare® implant lines, Ø2.75mm to Ø5.0mm, L6mm to L15mm
- 36 guided drills, six diameters in six lengths each
- Non cylindrical drill body with two lateral cuts for less sleeve friction and better irrigation
- Single Ø5.01mm sleeve system for guided implant depth control
- Compatible with the main guided surgery planning software packages
- Every drill and instrument has its own marked position in the tray
- Extendable with the JD Extra Drills Kit for pterygoid and nasal protocols
Indication:
- Computer guided implant placement with a surgical guide
- Flapless and minimally invasive implant surgery
- Single implant, partial and full arch guided cases
- Guided site preparation for JDentalCare® JDEvolution, JDEvolution Plus, JDEvolution S, JDIcon, JDIcon Plus, JDIcon Plus T, JDIcon Plus LE, JDIcon Plus PT and JDIcon Ultra S implants
- Guided pterygoid and nasal placement when combined with the JD Extra Drills Kit
Benefits:
- One kit instead of several, with no separate tray per implant line
- The implant reaches the planned depth, so abutments and provisional restorations can be prepared in advance
- Less friction and better irrigation mean lower heat at the osteotomy wall
- Smaller deviation between the planned and the achieved implant position than with free hand surgery
- Suits experienced surgeons and clinicians starting out with guided protocols
