The DSI Soft Tissue Trimmer is designed for tissue cutting and gingival reduction procedures, offering an effective alternative to scalpels and piezo lasers. It delivers unmatched performance and precision, thanks to its unique ceramic tip made from nano-structured zirconia. This material ensures exceptional durability, long tool life, and low vibration during procedures. The DSI tissue trimmer is highly resistant to breakage and can withstand extreme pressure, making it a reliable tool that can be sterilized like other surgical instruments.
The DSI Zirconia Soft Tissue Trimmer generates heat through tissue friction, sufficient to cause immediate coagulation at the cut surface and prevent bleeding. This controlled heating ensures a perfect balance, achieving hemostasis without risking necrosis.
The DSI Zirconia Tissue Trimmer features an FG connection, making it compatible with any high-speed turbine. It operates best at speeds between 300,000 and 500,000 rpm and should be used at a 90° angle with light pressure applied directly to the gingival surface for optimal performance.
