3M™ Filtek™ Universal Restorative is a light-activated composite material designed for creating natural-looking restorations in both the front and back of the mouth. Its shades have a similar opacity to natural teeth, allowing for deep curing up to 2mm. The material is also radiopaque and available in shades A1, A2, A3, and A3.5, with the option for a Pink Opaquer to mask discolorations and stains. It can be applied in 1mm increments for precise placement.

Indication

Direct anterior and posterior restorations (including occlusal surfaces), core buildups, splinting, and indirect restorations (inlays, onlays, and veneers).

Features

Shade selection has been simplified with 1 universal opacity and 8 designer shades to cover the majority of restorations.
Excellent concealer for dark spots caused by metal or stained dentition.
Used for excellent polish retention and wear resistance.
can be safely warmed for up to 1 hour at 70oC/158oF.
Fluorescent pigments give restorations a more natural appearance.
Increases radiopacity for easier identiﬁcation at recall
